Tell ChatGPT or Claude what you are building. Plywood Planner lays out the parts on your sheets or boards with straight, edge-to-edge cuts that a table saw, track saw or panel saw can make, and gives you a printable cut sheet.
How it works
1. Describe the project
"A bookshelf from 18 mm plywood" or a list of parts with sizes and quantities. The assistant turns it into a parts list.
2. Get the plan
How many sheets you need, how much of them the parts use, the offcuts worth keeping, and the scrap.
3. Cut from the cut sheet
A diagram of every sheet with numbered parts and the cut order, step by step. Print it or save it as a PDF.
What it handles
Table-saw cuts only
Every layout uses straight cuts from edge to edge, so you can make them on a table saw, track saw or panel saw.
Kerf and edge trim
The width of your saw blade is allowed for between parts, and you can trim the factory edges first.
Grain direction
Mark the parts whose grain must run along the sheet, such as doors and visible sides. The others may be turned.
mm or inches
Sizes in millimetres or inches. Inches print as fractions, to 1/16".
Sheets and boards
Plywood, MDF and melamine sheets, or boards cut to length. One material per plan.
